Tuesday's Fright Film Tidbit

After his performance in Dracula (1931)  Bela Lugosi became an overnight sensation. It is reported that he received more fan mail from women than Clark Gable. Lugosi's name became such as asset that studios would give him top billing even when he was playing a supporting role.  However, in his collaborations with Boris Karloff at Universal, it was Karloff who always received top billing.
