Janet Leigh who played Marion Crane in Psycho (1960) was not bothered by the filming of the famous shower scene. But after seeing it on film she was profoundly moved by the scene. She later remarked that it made her realize just how vulnerable a woman was in a shower. For the rest of her life, she always took baths instead of a shower.
