at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime and stars Christina Ricci as Lizzie Borden.
Lizzie Borden was an alleged ax murderess who was accused
of murdering her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1892. She was tried and acquitted of the murders. The story of the murders and trial were sensationalized
by the contemporary press making Lizzie Borden a household name. To this date
the mystery of who actually committed the murders remains unsolved.
