I, Frankenstein is scheduled to be released on January 24,
2014. This latest entry to the Frankenstein saga was written and directed by
Stuart Beattie and based on the graphic novel and original screenplay by Kevin
Grevioux. The film will star Aaron Eckhart and Bill Nighy. Filming began on February
27, 2012 in Victoria, Australia and took over ten weeks to complete.
Aaron Eckhart who plays
the lead role, said of his character, Adam, “Frankenstein is an intelligent,
evolved man, and that’s how he is portrayed in this movie, for sure." After
wandering the Earth for 200 years, Adam (Frankenstein’s creature) finds himself
at the center of a war between gargoyles and demons, who hope to harness the
electrifying secrets of Dr. Frankenstein to build an army of resurrected corpse
soldiers.
