Tuesday's Fright Film Tdbit - Smell-O-Vision !
Smell-O-Vision was
a technique created by Hans Laube and made its one and only appearance in Scent
of Mystery (1960). The system was designed so that the film's
soundtrack would trigger 30 different odors to be released into the theater's seats allowing
the audience to "smell" what was happening in the movie.
