of Washington Irvings The Legend of Sleepy
Hollow. The film featured American humorist and actor Will Rogers.
Son of Dracula (1943)
directed by Robert Siodmak and starring Lon Chaney, Jr. and Evelyn
Ankers was released on November 5, 1943. Son of Dracula
(1943) is the first film to show a vampire transforming into a bat. It
was the third film in Universal Studios' Dracula trilogy, beginning with Dracula
(1931)and Dracula's Daughter(1936).
Dwight Frye, best
remembered for portraying

a heart attack while riding on a bus in Hollywood on November 7, 1943.
