Frankenstein 1970 (1958) a science fiction /horror film
directed by Howard W. Koch starring Boris Karloff and Don "Red" Barry
was released on July 20 1958. The film
was shot in only eight days on a budget of $110,000.00. It was Boris Karloff's
fifth Frankenstein movie, and the first time he actually played a member of the
Frankenstein family.
James Whale best remembered for having directed such
classics as Frankenstein (1931), The Old
Dark House (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), and The Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
was born on July 22, 1889.
