Tuesday's Fright Film Tidbit

In The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) Dr. Pretorius comments that he sees a "certain resemblance" between him and the miniature devil. The Devil that appears in Dr. Pretorius' bottle is played by Peter Shaw who was Ernest Thesiger's (Dr Pretoriuus) stand-in/double for the film. Shaw would appear several films before becoming an executive at MGM.  He married actress Angela Lansbury in 1949 and later produced her popular television series, Murder, She Wrote.
