The Devil Commands (1941) was an American horror film directed by Edward Dmytryk and starring Boris Karloff. The story was adapted from the novel The Edge of Running Water by William Sloane. The Devil Commands (1941) was one of several in which Karloff played a mad scientist with a good heart. It was released on February 3, 1941.
